Ms. Cynthia ‘Candy’ Cruz-Datu posed this reminder to the fourteen (14) young writers who came to the RightNOW Young Writers Fellowship last February 22, 2014.


This was the third gathering of the group, and this time we’re back at the Church of the Risen Lord (CRL) in UP Diliman. Candy was our guest “story-teller’ for the month of February.

Candy is the only daughter of the late Supreme Court Justice Isagani Cruz, one of the SC justices appointed during the Cory Aquino Administration.

Candy graduated from UP Diliman with a degree in Journalism. She took up her Masters in Divinity from the Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary. She sits in the board of elders of the Church of the Risen Lord.
